In December 2020, according to the announcement of Rare Earth Science and Technology Award jointly established by The Society of Rare Earths of China and Association of China Rare Earth Industry, the project “Key Technology and Industrialization of High Performance SmCo Rare Earth Permanent Magnet” of THmag won the second place in 2020 Rare Earth Science and Technology Progress Award.
The key research direction of the project is to improve the remanence, coercivity and maximum magnetic energy product of high-performance 2:17 samarium cobalt products. By upgrading and automation transformation of traditional equipment, the goal of automatic detection system application and labor cost reduction is achieved, and the stable mass production is realized.
Being awarded the science and technology progress award not only affirms the technical level and application prospect of the project, but also greatly encourages the innovation of the company.
